Online and distance learners can request materials through our Distance Learning Library Services. Distance Learning Library Services requests are handled through your ILLiad account. If you have not used ILLiad before, you will need to click on First Time Users to register.
When you request an article of a print item that UWG Library owns, we will scan it for you and put the pdf in your ILLiad account. (This article scanning service is also available to on-campus students.) If you request a book that we own, we will mail you the book with a return envelope that has the postage prepaid so you can return it to us.
If you live near another University System of Georgia (USG) library, you can use your UWG ID to enter and use those materials. You can check out materials from another USG library and return them to the UWG Library.
