These pages are designed to assist with managing and communicating written and creative works resulting from intellectual inquiry.
Scholars at UWG include faculty, visiting researchers, visiting lecturers, emeritus faculty, and aspiring scholars. .
Students are aspiring scholars and may produce research outputs in terms of undergraduate or graduate theses, student conference presentations, student publications, senior projects, senior recitals and so forth. Students have intellectual property rights to these outputs and submit them for evaluation, comment, and enjoyment by the wider public including their student peers and instructors.

Primarily for Faculty:
- Institute for Faculty Excellence -- IFE (Center for Teaching and Learning) offers workshops, book studies, learning communities, and resources for engaging in the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning
- Office of Research and Sponsored Projects -- The Office of Research and Sponsored Projects provides support for faculty and staff who seek external funding to support scholarly, creative, and institutional initiatives. It is also the clearing house for IRB processing.
For Students/Aspiring Scholars:
- Graduate School -- Offers Graduate Assistantships, Thesis/Dissertation submission guidelines, and other programming to support the research of advanced level students.
- Honors College -- Encourages and supports undergraduate research, publishing, grant writing, community service activities, and preparation for postgraduate study or career success.
