This guide will help you locate newspapers that UWG's Ingram Library provides access to as well as newspapers and news websites freely available on the web.
You can use this guide to help you track down news resources at the local, national, and international level. You will also be able to explore both current and historical news.
This list will be updated semi-regularly and is not meant to be exhaustive. Get started with the following databases.
Newspaper Source provides cover-to-cover full text for 35 national (U.S.) and international newspapers, including The Christian Science Monitor, USA Today, The Washington Post, The Washington Times, The Times (London), The Toronto Star, etc.
The New York Times is included in the ProQuest Newspapers database but can be searched as a separate resource. To browse The New York Times issue by issue, click on the Publications link then select the year and issue.
ProQuest Newspapers offers international, national, regional, and local papers including The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Washington Post, The Guardian, El Norte, Jerusalem Post, and South China Morning Post.
