This is a free citation manager available for download at www.zotero.org. This software has plug-ins to integrate with Word, Chrome, Firefox, and library databases. Some find it wonderfully useful, but there are some glitches to watch out for. Make sure you double check all your citations before submitting work from any program.

To start using zotero,
- Sign up for a free account at Zotero.org
- Go the Zotero homepage and download the desktop client for your operating system (Windows, Linux, Mac).
- On the Zotero homepage, download the browser extension for your preferred browser (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari).
- Install and sign into the desktop application and browser extension.
- Open the desktop application each time before starting your research.
