You're here and what you want isn't. Or - what you want is here and you're not. Or what you want is not here and neither are you. What to do? Distance Learning Library Services and InterLibrary Loan (ILL) services will help you out!
First you need to set up an ILLiad account (first-time users go here) so you can have access to all of our ILL services.
For distance education students, the process is essentially:
1. Do we have access to this item online? Search for the item under the Books or Journals tab on our homepage.
2. If not, request the item via interlibrary loan.
A. If we own the book physically, we can ship it to your address for free, including a return shipping label.
B. If we own the article only physically, we can usually scan it for you to download through the ILLiad system.
C. If we do not own the item, we will get it either physically or electronically from another library.
Distance Education Students who live near other USG Libraries, like the ones at Georgia Southern or Kennesaw State University, can use the GILExpress service to request books from any USG library be sent to a USG library near them.
