Sound recordings

Compact discs are shelved separately near the music books (after the MT call number area), by the windows and a reading area on the 3rd floor.

In the past, the Department of Music recorded each recital/concert presentation held in Kathy Cashen Recital Hall, Townsend Center for the Performing Arts, or the Carroll County Schools Performing Arts Center.  One copy of each performance on CD is available for checkout and includes the concert program.  To locate these, search in the catalog, then look for a title in the compact disc collection.  A second copy is held by Special Collections for archival purposes.

Headphones are available at the Circulation desk.

Videos are available for checkout.  All are shelved on the first floor.  Look for opera performances on DVD in the M1500 call number area.
