Many of the topics engage with interactive questionnaires that alert the user to specific items that need attention. Many things glossed over in other resources, such as identity theft and online banking security, have more attention provided with this educational platform. While the information provided is sound and fundamental, there is an implied bias since a for-profit business produces it. Edward Jones, LLLP (limited liability, limited partnership) is a commercial entity with the desire to become one’s professional financial planner (PFP).

The source with a hyperlink above is a subset of her website and provides a clearinghouse and search engine for additional references. The clearinghouse is beneficial for navigating within her site but also offers outside resources. Users should be prepared to know that when it comes to individual blogs and podcasts, there may be a gem of information in an abundance of chaff. In addition, podcasts are challenging to access since they are not transposed into a written and searchable format.

This website is designed for those who wish to become financial planners. Although targeted primarily to career professionals with sections of the site restricted to members of the Financial Planning Association, there are some resources on the "learn" section of the site that are available to members of the general public.
