Library Resources during COVID-19

Special access from publishers

Several publishers and content providers are opening their electronic resources temporarily through this crisis. This means we currently have access to materials that Ingram Library is not normally able to purchase or can not normally afford to purchase. Some of those offers are listed below, along with the current expiration of the offer.

APA Publication Manual and Other Resources

Temporary free access to the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (6th and 7th editions), the Concise Guide to APA Style, and more than 160 other books published by APA Books through VitalSource and RedShelf.

These resources will be available for free to instructors and students at participating nonprofit academic institutions affected by campus closures until May 25, 2020

Visit this page for more information.

National Emergency Library

The Internet Archive launched the National Emergency Library which provides access to about 1.4 million volumes.

More details can be found on their FAQ page. The library will have suspended waitlists through June 30, 2020, or the end of the US national emergency, whichever is later.  After that, waitlists will be dramatically reduced to their normal capacity, which is based on the number of physical copies in Open Libraries.
