The New York Times: Home

Information and resources to help you access your free New York Times electronic subscription.

Getting Started

The University of West Georgia provides its current students, staff, and faculty with electronic access to The New York Times (NYT). The documentation below will walk you through the registration process whether you are on- or off-campus. If you have questions about the registration process, please contact Charlie Sicignano (charlie@westga.edu).

After completing the registration process, you can access NYT content on any device using NYT's app or by going to NYT.com and logging in.

NOTE: If you already have a personal subscription to NYT, following the below instructions should associate your personal account with UWG's subscription (if you use the same username). If you experience issues, however, please contact NYT's Customer Care Department at 1-800-698-4637 (M-F: 7am - 10pm; SA-SU: 7am - 3pm, Eastern), or email: help@nytimes.com.
