Accessing UWG Course Reserves
Faculty and staff at the University of West Georgia can place materials on reserve. Depending on the professor, these materials are available in print at the library or electronically online.
To Access Course Reserves:
- Get the Course Password from your professor. (We don't know this and can't look it up!)
- Go to Course Reserves under Find Information on the library homepage.
- Click Electronic Reserves and Reserves Pages.
- You can browse the reserves by department or your instructor's last name.
- Click on your class and enter your course password when prompted.
- Click Documents at the center of the page.
- Click on a reserve from the list to download, print, or save it.
- If a reserve says "Hard Copy," it is held in the library at the Circulation Desk.
- Go to the Circulation Desk with your UWG ID or a photo ID.
- Ask for the item by your professor's name.
- Reserves can usually be checked out for 2 hours.
Note: All physical reserves must be used within the library. We have DVD and VHS players for this purpose.
